Lua de Mel - Rajasthan

Cerimônia Religiosa - Tradução Laavan

Ang 773 from Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
This is to unite the soul with God. The four steps of the process a soul should follow to unite itself with its source God. This is Bani of the 4th sikh Guru, Sri Guru Ramdass Ji.

Guru Ji explains like doing karam/work and moving step by step we can reach our goal, in the same way these are the different avasthas (state of condition of mind and consciousness achieved through effort) a soul will go through to reach its destination or unity with God. Firstly, when one go to one’s Guru, then guru gives him the order to read Bani, Meditate Naam. Slowly, slowly he starts loving these things and finally with God’s / Waheguru’s grace he connects completely with his Guru. This guru takes away all the fears and bharam (the false burden or responsibility of maintaining one's family, society and nation and elaborate arrangements for that purpose) and grants him loving fear of God. He tells him that you are being watched, everything that you do is being noted. Thus slowly and slowly, a human being stop doing all the bad activities and then in the 3rd stage he becomes a Bairagi (a person who withdraws from the world) while doing all his normal duties and performing his chores and he finds the company of saintly people by Waheguru´s grace. Finally Waheguru blesses the person sahej or contentment and peace within him and is left with no desires at all. And he loves chanting Naam and stay connected with Waheguru day and night. Thus her (as soul is feminine) initial desire of uniting with god has been achieved and soul is in happy state for the rest of human life no matter what happens around him.

soohee mehlaa 4.
Soohee, Fourth Mehl:

har pahilarhee laav parvirtee karam drirh-aa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
In the first round of the marriage ceremony, the Lord sets out His Instructions for performing the daily duties of married life  and living in a way of active activity.

banee barahmaa vayd Dharam darirhHu paap tajaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
Instead of the hymns of the Vedas to Brahma, Read one´s Guru Bani, embrace the righteous conduct of Dharma. Enter the faith of your Guru and Dharma should should be made solid meaning, no matter what happens one will follow the righteous action only, even if that means giving away one´s life. Which ever bani one is reading, one should try to understand it by reading it very carefully, thoughfully and when understood then follow whatever bani says to you. Renounce sinful actions is also of utmost importance.

Dharam darirhHu har naam Dhi-aavahu simrit naam drirh-aa-i-aa.
Once you have entered the faith, then following the steps one by one is very important. Just entering the faith is not enough, following it completly is very impotant. Meditate on the Lord's Name is essential; embrace and enshrine the contemplative remembrance of the Naam. Every religious books same the thing of meditating on the Lord´s Name or Naam simran. Because the Naam Simran protects one from everything, all sins, it makes you stronger from within.

satgur gur pooraa aaraaDhahu sabh kilvikh paap gavaa-i-aa.
Once, the above step are becoming better, then with love in your heart, Worship and adore the Guru, the Perfect True Guru, and all your sins shall be dispelled slowly and slowly. One should remember one´s Guru and Waheguru are always close to you, wherever you may be. Always feel closer to them all the time.

sahj anand ho-aa vadbhaagee man har har meethaa laa-i-aa.
Because of the above steps, by great good fortune, celestial bliss is attained, and the Lord, Har, Har, seems sweet to the mind and some peace has come and some happyiness has come

jan kahai naanak laav pahilee aarambh kaaj rachaa-i-aa. ||1||
Guru Ji explains these above mentioned step are one´s duties for the first step of one’s soul´s unification with Waheguru. ||1||

har doojrhee laav satgur purakh milaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
In the second step, after observing your progress, the true guru leads a soul to meet with the Lord, the Primal Being. Meeting with Waheguru is not like meeting a person, its accepting the order, listening with your heart. Giving one’s body mind soul and wealth (everything that you think is yours) completely to Waheguru and accepting that it’s all basically Waheguru’s only in the first place.

nirbha-o bhai man ho-ay ha-umai mail gavaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
Guru takes away all kind of fears (death, from where I will get my food etc.) from one’s mind and eradicates the filth of egotism (we all are filled ego for example I eat, I did this, I did that, I won this, I came first, I am very wise, I am very beautiful, I am this, I am that etc list is endless) by showing that this is just a body of five elements and is working only because of the Waheguru’s Jot or light in it.

nirmal bha-o paa-i-aa har gun gaa-i-aa har vaykhai raam hadooray.
Although Guru takes away the materialistic fear and grant him loving fear of God, the Immaculate Lord, soud starts singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord by Guru’s grace, and Guru shows that the Lord's Presence before her at all times.

har aatam raam pasaari-aa su-aamee sarab rahi-aa bharpooray.
Guru explains the soul that The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is the Lord and Master of the Universe; He is pervading and permeating everywhere, fully filling all spaces in trees, animals, birds, insects or basically everything that can be seen. He is watching through your eyes and listening through your ears and speaking through your mouth and present in the mind observing the thoughts in your mind. He knows your deep secrets. He knows everything. This helps the soul follow the right path always.

antar baahar har parabh ayko mil har jan mangal gaa-ay.
Deep within, and outside as well, there is only the One Lord God. Meeting together, the humble servants of the Lord sing the songs of joy.

jan naanak doojee laav chalaa-ee anhad sabad vajaa-ay. ||2||
Servant Nanak proclaims that, in this, the second step or avastha, by making the soul practice the step 1 and 2, the soul starts listening to the unstruck sound current of the Shabad which is always there but we were unable to hear before. ||2||

har teejrhee laav man chaa-o bha-i-aa bairaagee-aa bal raam jee-o.
After knowing the truth a soul becomes a bairagi (a person who withdraws from the world) and In the third step or avastha, the mind is filled with Divine Love .

sant janaa har mayl har paa-i-aa vadbhaagee-aa bal raam jee-o.
Meeting with the humble Saints of the Lord, I have found the Lord, by great good fortune. Company of humble saints is very important and an important step in a soul’s evolution. Effect of the company always had a very serious impact on a person. Its like one bad apple makes all other apples rotten, the company of humble saints helps soul find the right path and meet the lord.

nirmal har paa-i-aa har gun gaa-i-aa mukh bolee har banee.
Soul has found the Immaculate Lord, and She sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. She speaks the Word of the Lord's Bani.

sant janaa vadbhaagee paa-i-aa har kathee-ai akath kahaanee.
By great good fortune, a soul find the humble Saints, and she speaks the Unspoken Speech of the Lord in their company which can’t be done with a normal person. It’s like a mathematician trying to explain something to someone who has no knowledge of maths at all.

hirdai har har har Dhun upjee har japee-ai mastak bhaag jee-o.
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, vibrates and resounds within the heart and it’s automatic and wont stop as your heart has known the truth and now, doesn’t want anything else; meditating on the Lord, I have realized the destiny inscribed upon my forehead.

jan naanak bolay teejee laavai har upjai man bairaag jee-o. ||3||
Servant Nanak proclaims that, in this, the third step or avastha, the mind is filled with Divine Love for the Lord. ||3||

har cha-utharhee laav man sahj bha-i-aa har paa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
In the fourth step or avashta, mind becomes peaceful having found the Lord. When someone reaches the destination, he/she becomes relaxed as something has been achieved. In materialistic world, another destination comes and it never ends and thus peace doesn’t come but in spiritualistic world, there is only destination and when it comes, everlasting peace comes along with. Example to explain the peace that comes:
Once a guy was meditating and some one left a very costly object in front of him as a gift and left. That guy woke up from the meditation saw the object and gave no importance and did his things and went back to meditation, then a thief came and took the costly object and when the guy came back from meditation, he saw that objet is not there and he felt nothing again as if nothing was there and nothing happened. Initially sawing the objet he didn’t became happy and when the object left he wasn’t sad. Always stay in one constant state of internal joy. This has to be applied to our daily day to day life while living our lives in all of our actions.

gurmukh mili-aa subhaa-ay har man tan meethaa laa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
Automatically, with intuitive ease, one meets with The True Guru; Guru has not given these avasthas within a day or two or a month or two, it has taken it times depending upon person to person. Person get tested at each instant if he can carry or hold or take care of it what he gets then he moves to the next stage. One should remember that it’s a one-way path and you move forward only even if it may take too much time at one point, it’s to learn and yearn. Therefore slowly and slowly the Lord seems so sweet to the mind and body.

har meethaa laa-i-aa mayray parabh bhaa-i-aa an-din har liv laa-ee.
One, whom the Lord seems so sweet, is pleasing to Waheguru. Night and day, he/she lovingly focus his/her consciousness on the Lord.

man chindi-aa fal paa-i-aa su-aamee har naam vajee vaaDhaa-ee.
I have obtained my Lord and Master, the fruit of my mind's desires. And this desire is not any materialistic as guru says “I don’t want to be king, I don’t want salvation, my mind is going mad in the love of your feet” or only desire is to unite with Waheguru and nothing else. The Lord's Name resounds and resonates.

har parabh thaakur kaaj rachaa-i-aa Dhan hirdai naam vigaasee.
The Lord Waheguru, my Lord and Master, blends with His bride (soul), and her (soul’s) heart blossoms forth in the Naam.

jan naanak bolay cha-uthee laavai har paa-i-aa parabh avinaasee.||4||2||
Servant Nanak proclaims that, in this, the fourth stage or avastha, by Guru’s grace we have found the Eternal Lord God. So only by becoming strong in step one that we can move to second step and so on.  No one can skip these steps, though these can be quick or slow from person to person depending upon guru’s grace. One should only concentrate on his efforts and not on moving forward, let Guru be the judge when you need or when you are ready to move forward as its one way traffic only and there is no returning back and we may not be ready though we may think that we are. Let Guru be the judge, just do your effort as you are being asked without saying a word that it is too much etc. Waheguru can only be sought with Guru’s grace. Without Guru, we can only wander and achieve nothing. ||4||2||

O casamento...

Todas as pessoas?
